Toby meets Santa

It may be a waste of time and money, but I HAD to do it! At first he was petrified of mr. creepy Santa, but after a while he was ok with the big man. I think I was more creeped out at the end of the day. So here is a picture of Toby's first visit with Santa Clause at the Longmont mall.
His Birthday is around the corner, I can't believe 1 year is almost here. He loves to stand and cruise all around and lately I've caught him letting go and standing (for a quick second) by himself. We'll be heading to Saratoga Springs NY to celebrate Christmas with Grandpa Tim and GC, should be fun, other than the plane ride!

Newest Barnett...pending!

The title would make you think that Amy is pregnant again-- NOPE!

We have a new niece on the way! Just found out that Steph Barnett (my SIL) is in labor. Good luck Ned and Steph!

Happy Holidays Everyone

We had a fun dinner last night -- kind of a post-Thanksgiving Thanksgiving type dinner that Gavin and Susan put together. From left to right: Gavin, Todd, Natalie, Ian, Toby, Amy, Danielle, Micah, Mike, Susan and Zoe.

We also manage to get a fun picture of the 3 of us -

It only took us 10 tries but we got a smile out of Toby. :-)

Wow -- so we've had quite the last few weeks.

First, the "plague" ran through our house the entire week of Thanksgiving. I gave it to Toby who gave it to Amy (via his boooooger fingers I'm sure). Nothing says, "I love you dad" like getting puked on multiple times a day. However, we are all feeling MUCH better this week.

Toby is cruising furniture and leaning against everything so he can use both hands as he stands. We also learned that if he's snuggling up against you, chances are he feels rotten and that you are going to be sick soon as well.

On the plus side, he now has enough hair to confirm that he's going to have some sweet 'fro! It might be short but man, it's going to be curly.
