Happy Kid

He's 5&1/2 months now, and things are really getting good. He is just incredible. Still no teeth but a drooling and chomping machine, any day now. He's starting to swallow more of his rice cereal, and most importantly he's letting mom sleep! The first five months of sleep struggle are all worth it.

We went to CA this weekend for a wedding, Toby did great on the plane but didn't sleep so well in the baby jail hotel crib (can't blame him). Uncle Ned comes this weekend to help Ian stain the deck, wish he was bringing cousin Jackson. Looking forward to our trip back east to Rye and Westport in July, until then we're flyin low (as his great grandpa Joe likes to say).

5 Months Already!

Wow! Everyone said that the time would fly so enjoy every minute, it drove me crazy how many people said that as I was running on 2-3 hours of sleep at a time. But now I know it's true! Gavin and Susan had their baby Xander on Wednesday, and wow is he tiny at 7lb10oz. It just makes Toby look huge and so old! He is 5 months today and still the best little guy we could ask for. He's slowly eating more and more rice cereal, he knows how to roll both ways and does it occasionally. We introduced a little formula over the past few weeks and he is sleeping 5-7 hours at a time, most nights... a little goes a long way! He can practically hold his bottle and he is really growing a little personality. Luckily it seems to be happy and easy going most of the time! This weekend we finally finished Toby's room and hung his name on the wall, it looks so great! Otherwise summer is kicking in and we're just trying to stay cool in this 80 degree weather.
