Picture day 8-30-08

So back in the end of August we did a fundraiser called Crayons to Calculators. We spent 30 minutes with Lynsey Peterson, a professional photographer, as a charity event to raise money for school supplies for the Boulder and St. Vrain school districts. Low and behold, Toby was not in a great mood that day, whether it be waking him from his nap to have a big black camera in his face, or the cold creek water, or the dirt road he hadn't seen before, getting him to crack a smile was nearly impossible. Somehow Lynsey still caught some great family and Toby pictures. You might be seeing one of these again come Christmas time ;)

Toby update

Uh oh..., here comes trouble. He's starting to pull himself up on coffee tables and boxes, and he has his army crawl down to a quick and efficient mode of self transportation. We think teeth 3&4 are soon on their way, we've got the runny nose, droolin and lack of sleep in full force! I even see a white bit on his top left!! Would you just come in already! We're starting meats and cheerios, but unfortunately he's very preferential to sweet potatoe and peach puffs! Who wouldn't, they dissolve in your mouth and taste so yummy, mom and dad love them too! And yes he held his own bottle today for the full 6 oz! He and Addie are getting to know eachother well, he has a new best friend beside him in his highchair at mealtime, he is starting finger foods :) His favorite pastime still has to be splashing in his ducky at bathtime every night. I have to change into different clothes every night from getting soaked sitting beside the tub. He flips the pages and flaps when we read his favorite books, I think he likes it or else he's trying to get through it quicker??? Oh and we went to the doctor for a 'mysterious rash' all over his body, and he's 21lbs, 70th percentile for weight!! We love his skier thighs! Anyways, that's all for now, hope to write again soon!

8 Months!

Wow -- what a crazy week or two. First, Toby figures out how to sit up on his own and then today his Nani taught him how to "yodel."

Don't ask me how, but he figured it out and had a blast!

We also took a picture or two of him outside playing in the grass. Toby's quite the happy little fellow -
